Madhushravani competition or Madhu Sravani Puja could be a main competition ascertained in Mithilanchal. Madhushravani is widely known in Shravan Month (July – August) for consecutive thirteen days and ends on Shravan Shukla Tritiya with elaborate pooja and feeding. throughout this competition, ladies worship Kamarupan devatas (Serpent Gods), Gauri, Shanti Kalash, Surya, Chandrama, Navagrah, and a number of other Nags like Nag dampati, Bairasi beside hundred brothers, Chanai, Kusumawati, Pingla, Lili, Gosauni nag with seven sisters,and last Shasthi or sathi.
